We have industry experience of 5+ years and a total of 8 years of growing and providing unique plants and gifts.
Meet the team!
Chris is an established Botanist with over 8 years in the horticulture industry. 5 years of which spent in a management position at one of Canada’s largest wholesaler for tropical and perennial plants. Chris is also an established photographer and fashion designer who has been published and featured in numerous magazines and fashion shows.
Olivia is relatively new to the horticulture industry with 2 years being a supervisor at Canada’s largest wholesaler for tropical and perennials. She also has an additional 3 years of growing independently with Hutchfields.
Our business standards
At Hutchfields we try to ensure the best possible quality assurance on all of our products. Whether it is with plants or our other featured merchandise. When it comes to plants, we do not believe in “industry hurting” price gouging or destroying an industry through illegal plant poaching. Unfortunately during the covid-19 pandemic, illegal plant poaching went above and beyond and has destroyed multiple ecosystems and natural flora in the process. All of our plants were acquired on Canadian soil, grown by seed or through rehabilitation on poorly grown plants.
Our soaps are 100% hand made with all natural ingredients. Made in house and free of allergens or environment contaminants.
